The Dwarika’s Kathmandu is a heritage hotel drawing inspiration from the architectural grandeur of Newari royal palaces. Built using locally sourced handmade bricks and reclaimed wooden carvings and fixtures. The entry level Heritage Deluxe Rooms are spacious and come with bathtub, day bed and views across the courtyard. For the ultimate in luxury the Royal Suite is arranged across three floors and features a sundeck with expansive views across the city to the surrounding Kathmandu Valley. In addition to a well-stocked bar, there are three excellent restaurants on site serving a range of options including simple sandwiches, traditional Nepalese cuisine, and home-made Japanese dishes. There is a large outdoor swimming pool, and a spa focusing on ayurvedic treatments – perfect for a spot of pampering.
