Honeymoon to South Africa & Mauritius
Donna Whittle & Jason Hunt, 18th June 2018The trip was outstanding. Ngala tented camps In South Africaâ??s Kruger national park was everything we could have wished for and much more. Mauritius is a beautiful Island with lovely people. The Westin Turtle bay is a lovely, quiet hotel. Staff cannot do enough for you and always with a smile to greet you.

“It was a perfect time for us to visit in mid June coming from the UK. The mornings and evenings were chilly but we were still sunbathing around the pool by 11am. 25 degrees. Positively balmy for us.
The wildlife is just fantastic. We saw the big 5 and so much more. It exceeded our expectations by far.
The sunsets are something else. Iâ??ve never experienced anything like them and have some amazing photos as momentous.
The food was fantastic and plentiful. We tried Springbok, chakalaka and Biltong.
Overall impression of South Africa is that the people have a joy and zest for life. Lots of energy and passion. With big hearts. We fell in love with the place.”

“A good choice of destination if relaxing by the sea is your favourite pastime. There are lots of opportunities to visit different parts of the Island with enough variety to keep everybody happy.
The people were just lovely.”

“Outstanding. The attention to detail was fantastic. There were so many special touches that we didnâ??t expect. I wonâ??t say what they are as it might spoil it for others. A big thanks to our butler Clifford for some of these.
Our guide Scott and tracker Ernest were amazing. Really knowledgeable with a passion for conservation of this wonderful habitat.
The food was something else. You will definitely not go hungry here. We joked that the were fattening us up for the lions.
A truly 5* experience in every way. Certainly named right â?? and beyondâ?”

“A lovely hotel. Set in beautiful grounds. Every member of staff do their best to ensure you have a lovely holiday. Rooms are large with everything you could possibly need. Housekeeping are brilliant. Room very clean throughout our stay.
Only negatives were the food in the main restraunt was not up to standard for a five star hotel. Other restraunts were available but as we were all inclusive we had a credit of 1000 rupees which covered the price of a starter and maybe half a dessert. Prices seemed artificially high for food and drinks.”

“Stuart was excellent. Shortly after we booked we heard of an outbreak of bubonic plague in Madagascar which also threatened South Africa. Stuart was knowledgeable about the issue and sent us links to up to date public health information so we could make an informed choice about our visit. He also dealt swiftly to ensure we were booked on the next available flight when ours was cancelled due to South African express being grounded.
Stuart also made a good suggestion of visiting Mauritius first then And beyond Ngala tented camps but the flights wouldnâ??t work out for us. Iâ??d recommend doing this if you can because you really are treated like royalty there.”
