Honeymoon to United Arab Emirates & Seychelles
Christina Mangan & Gerard Callaghan, 12th January 2019This really was the trip of a lifetime and a holiday we will never forget! Both locations went very well together. There was a reasonable travel time between them and both countries are in the same time zone which was definitely an advantage. We really enjoyed the buzz of the city for a few days and combined with plenty of relaxation time in the Seychelles we came home feeling completely refreshed.

“This hotel was the best part about our trip to Dubai and probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It is absolutely huge with so many restaurant choices. Our favourite part was the water park which is so convenient for hotel guests.”
Raffles Praslin Seychelles
“Raffles Praslin was pure luxury. The perfect honeymoon hotel. Every part of it was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful.”
“Unfortunately we had a few issues with this hotel and had to move villas twice. The first villa we were given was full of ants. There were at least 100 in the bed alone. We had a similar experience in the second villa. The main issue was that the villas weren't sealed properly. There were huge gaps around the door and windows.
We were then given an upgraded beachfront villa and thankfully didn't have any issues here. These villas have obviously been refurbished as they were properly sealed.
The breakfast buffet and dining tables were always covered in ants also. I completely understand that this hotel is in a forest setting but we didn't experience anything like this while indoors in Raffles.
I have never had to make a complaint like this in a hotel before so it was quite awkward but the staff were very apologetic and helpful. I cannot fault them as this is definitely an issue beyond their control. The refurbishment of the beachfront villas has obviously been prioritized and until all villas are of the same standard I would not recommend for anyone to stay in them.”
