vacation to Botswana, South Africa & Zambia
Darrell Spinks, 19th May 2019We had an outstanding vacation in Cape Town and on safari at several camps which will remain as one of our favourite trips anywhere in the world! Experiencing a safari had been on our list for years and although we had received some advice and done some research, we found being on safari was a singular, immersive and very absorbing experience.

“Cape Town was interesting - nestled up to Table Mountain with the ocean on the other side made for a very beautiful setting. Our one-day Peninsula Tour was a great option and the scenic vistas stretching down the coast towards the Cape of Good Hope were stunning! We spent several evenings in trend-setting restaurants that could hold their own in any international foodie destination. We'll have to return in the future to continue our explorations of the City and the surrounding areas.”
Botswana
“Based on our time spent at two safari camps - which comprised our entire experience in Botswana - we found it to be a naturally beautiful country. Seeing such an abundance of wildlife in the Okavango Delta was an awe-inspiring and humbling experience.”

“We truly enjoyed our time at Khwai Camp. The tented accommodations were simple and very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area staff were friendly and attentive and the quality of the food was very good.
In particular we were thrilled to see so much game and wildlife on our game drives. A big shout-out has to go to our guide Ken - The Professor! Ken was affable, very knowledgeable and was able to spot animals early and at long distance. We enjoyed his guidance and company.”

“Linyanti Ebony was a good experience for us and the tented accommodations were very spacious with good views out over the wetland. It's unfortunate that the river has receded compared to recent years but we saw large groups of Cape Buffalo, zebra, giraffes and warthogs with our guide Joe. Joe shared his extensive knowledge of the animals and overall environment in a very friendly manner. He did a great job!”
Toka Leya Camp
“We stayed at Toka Leya at the end of our itinerary which worked very well in our case. After 6 days on safari, the upscale surroundings on the banks of the Zambezi River offered a very relaxing conclusion. The food was very good in the dining area and the service was attentive and timely.
Overall, the entire level of service across the board was very high and commendable. Everyone was friendly and very personable. We felt like VIP guests at every turn!”

“If there was a 6 on the score chart we would have chosen it for Nikki! We were under very tight time constraints as our decision to travel was made at the last minute and Nikki was very quick to get an understanding of our needs and she turned around a proposed itinerary within 24 hours. As we considered options Nikki shared her personal experience and professional advice in a very friendly and informal manner. In short, she quickly 'got us' and delivered a highly enjoyable and memorable vacation itinerary within a tight timeframe.
I enjoyed our email and phone communications as well. Nikki's level of service was so personable and attentive that I wouldn't have been too surprised to see her standing at the arrivals gate of Cape Town Airport to welcome us to South Africa:)”
