“Simply fabulous. Monica and Chewy were professionals who worked hard to give us a top-notch safari experience. Monica was especially helpful when I discovered that I left some important medication at home. She made an appointment with a friendly local doctor is Hoedspriut, got my transport arranged and within an afternoon I had replacement medication. Chef at Serondella was the best we had all trip and he even made the Bunny Chow I requested. Chewy was a passionate and knowledgeable guide - one of the best. Game viewing was excellent and view to the waterhole from our cabin was usually busy with all kinds of game.”

“Very comfy and relaxing accommodations outside of Vic Falls. Manager (forgot her name) was attentive to every need and request. Only issue was an electrical problem in the lodge which caused a current to be felt as I used the shower faucet - they were working on this problem, but I was concerned I would get a shock. Nice grounds with some game viewing. We were presented with a yummy anniversary cake! All connections went smoothly.”

Davison's Camp

“Wonderful camp with comfortable tent, good food, helpful staff. Cameron, one of the managers, even helped get me some cough medicine as I became ill during the trip. Cameron also set up a romantic anniversary dinner, with candles and festive table decorations.
I don't know if it was worth all the traveling in order to stay at this camp for 2 days. Game viewing was good, but not spectacular enough to warrant all the time it took to go in and out of Vic Falls/Kasane.”

Rra Dinare Camp

“Wonderful camp, very well run, with a great guide "NT" and tracker Lake. food was plentiful and tasty. Alcohol was included in cost, but my husband and I do not drink very much, so I would have liked an option to just pay for the few drinks we had.
Soft sandy soil made for very rocky game drives. Good game viewing with variety, but somewhat sparse sightings. Appreciated the "Bush babies" at bed-time.

Most disappointing was lack of high enough water levels to make water activities possible. On hindsight, I would recommend that any traveller who wants to have the full delta experience with water activities (mokoro rides) should go later in the year to have a better chance of water reaching this location in the Delta in these dryer years. This camp was too far south and east to have reliable water levels in June. However, the weather was lovely and no mosquitos at this time of year.”
