Adventure Holiday to Botswana
Donna Smith, 2nd May 2022Our trip to Botswana was wonderful. Our trip was well planned by Steve which made it more enjoyable.

Camp Kalahari
“A wonderful Camp. The accommodations were basic; however, the management and guide made our stay the best of our trip to Botswana. Olga, the manager, always greeted us upon arrival at the Camp and departing to any outing. She took very good care of us and she was a pleasure to be around. Our Guide, Shathiso, was fantastic to us. He took very good care of us day and night. He was persistent on finding game for us. We were fortunate enough to have him as our private guide. The food was good and the room was clean and comfortable. We went horseback riding which was a special treat. The wildlife was plentiful. The Meercat experience was special. We followed 3 Cheetahs and 3 lions on separate occasions. Seeing them walking across the Pans was special. The morning wake up call with coffee and hot chocolate was nice.”
“The accommodations were great. The room was very nice with Wi-Fi in the room. The managers greeted us upon arrival at the Camp and departing to any outing. We traveled by car and then boat to arrive at the Camp. The wildlife was more birds than animals. We did see many hippos. There was instant coffee in the room.”
Gomoti Plains Camp
“The accommodations were marvelous. The staff not so much. Our guide, Ben, was wonderful. He took very good care of us. The manager, Panche, meet us upon arrival. She told us we would not see her much, which was true, that she was taking care of special guests next door at the Camp. There were several things we were not made aware of by her. She did show up when we were getting ready to leave, shook our hands and said she was off to administrative duties. If our guide, Ben, had not taken such good care of us, we would have missed out on many things. The wildlife was the best at this Camp. Ben went out of his way to find game for us, which he did very well, and to make sure we were taken care of. He also went out of his way to make sure we had water bottles to heat our beds when we found out the last night we were there, that other people had gotten them every night, which we had not received, but found out from one of the other guests. The food was very good. Animals would pass right by our tent at all times of the day and night. There was no coffee delivered or in the room in the mornings.”

“Steve did an excellent job planning our trip to Botswana. He always answered our questions promptly and in detail. Our trip was well planned and coordinated. He listened to the things we were interested in and went about making them happen. We also received helpful information several weeks before our trip. He was a pleasure to talk with on the telephone. The only issue we had was that the other people we met at the camps; their travel agents had made arrangements for their Covid testing, which he had not done for us.”
