Honeymoon to South Africa & Mauritius

Hotels were all of an excellent standard, in particular our time on Safari which was truly amazing. We got the feeling the team really knew what they were doing here, as this was a place I wouldn't have been able to find by myself.

“Incredible hotel with outstanding views out over the ocean. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, whilst the access to the free shuttle service counters the fact that you are slightly outside of the main areas of the city. It really has a fantastic vibe and concept and both the bar and breakfast were fantastic. Additional items in the room such as biltong, chocolates, sparkling wine and water on arrival also made it a fantastic place to begin our honeymoon.”

“Truly incredible experience, the staff were impeccable. This extended across both our safari team as well as the staff in the lodge itself. The food and drink was great, whilst safari itself was brilliant as we saw plenty of animals closer than I thought possible. You felt that the staff were genuinely so happy to have you there and almost treated you as family. Aspects such as the communal Bomas/Braiis were fantastic quality and also gave a wonderful shared experience with everyone else there.”

“A surprisingly brilliant hotel stay, really nice room and the staff were so professional and welcoming. They made an enormous deal about it being our honeymoon, despite staying for just one night. The room itself was lovely and both breakfast and dinner were also very pleasant. The location next to airport makes it incredibly convenient.”

“The hotel has an absolutely incredible setting between the ocean and the mountain. There was some confusion when we first arrived as to whether we were on the all inclusive package or bed and breakfast. This was never really explained to us and then when we were being presented with bills became even more confusing. This was sorted later but was fairly aggravating. They were also the only hotel that kept asking us for our "booking voucher" which we didn't have as such and made things more difficult. There were some other odd aspects such as being summoned to a meeting at 8.30am on our first day to tell us what honeymoon extras they had included, which could quite easily have been done on check in or in a note on arrival. However, the setting was idyllic with good food and drink options, whilst on the whole the staff were very friendly. The additional activities such as kayaking, snorkelling etc were also excellent.”
