Tim Bell, 16th June 2022Above and beyond what we expected. Service was excellent and the quality of game viewing awesome. Hotels and lodges were well chosen by our travel agent. Of course, getting there was a chore.

“Beautiful and close to the action in Cape Town. Very safe area. We were provided with a vehicle for this section of the trip and rarely used it other than returning to the airport and a drive to Table Mountain. We decided to hire a guide for our forays out of Cape Town and would advise other families do the same.”
Avani Victoria Falls Resort
“Superbly located! Literally right on the Falls. Not visible but we got the natural air conditioning provided from the spray. We took regular strolls to the Falls on a whim which would not have been available at other locations The hotel had a friendly staff and the food and service was excellent.
We would advise some excursions into Livingstone to enjoy some of the local restaurants/food. Strongly recommend the Zambesi Cafe (and if you're brave the Mopane worms). We recommend a visit to one of the local villages to get a 'real' taste of Zambia/Africa.”

“Also a great experience and luxurious accommodations. Game viewing was excellent although overall, a little more crowded with visitors. Sometimes felt like we were a little 'too close to town'. Our guide, Aubrey was very knowledgeable both in the animals and many other topics including astronomy to provide extra entertainment on the night drives! What these 'bush cooks/chefs' can prepare so far from a local grocery store is extraordinary.”

“We have to give this resort a 5 star because it really was delightful. Comfortable, impeccable service, beautifully located and wow what a massage!
Our travel agent gave us this resort as a wind down after our intense safari experiences and it was laid back. Being honest though, it was a little white washed for our tastes. It was not Africa enough, not even the decor was African.
We did explore the Scuba option while there and the reef was beautiful. The operator / dive master needed to put away the Swiss watch and lighten up a little. That option not recommended but the beach jogs will be forever remembered.”

“Even with a 9 hr time difference, Nikki always got back to us with answers to our inquiries. We had this trip booked in 2020 and right after a sizeable deposit, our plans melted after the COVID outbreak. Nikki worked hard to preserve our deposit and keep things rolling despite the necessity of another postponement in 2021! We had people waiting for us at every airport/locale change to make our experience simple and stress-free. She was also helpful in guiding us through travel visas etc. She chose our itinerary and accommodations to suit us (a family of 5 with teenagers). She is knowledgeable and we would recommend her and Mahlatini to everyone.
