Honeymoon to South Africa & Mozambique

We felt incredibly looked after along our journey and even when we faced challenges, such as cancelled flights, Caroline was there to resolve everything with ease. Each location, accommodation and activity had been selected with great care and the special touches along the way made every experience so memorable.

“Old school luxury would be the best description. Breakfast was exceptional and would thoroughly recommend upgrading to a Table Mountain view as the sunrise/ sunset is spectacular!”

“Absolutely beautiful scenery. Perfect for a two-night stay as there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. We thoroughly enjoyed the food (all produced locally) and wine tasting at the cellar was fantastic. We rented bikes as our cottage was on the far side of the estate but it was quite nice to be away from the main areas.”
Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge
“What an incredible setting. The interiors of the lodge are so luxurious and the staff so attentive. Our room was absolutely huge and overlooked the water. We woke to the sounds of the hippos and we were visited by some incredible wildlife. The game drives were brilliant - Clayton and Ralph were a fantastic team and went out of their way to ensure each experience was memorable. The entire Chitwa team were so welcoming and the special, honeymoon touches were magical. One evening upon returning from the afternoon game drive we found our lodge flooded with candlelight and a beautiful aromatherapy bath had been prepared with champagne chilling on ice. It really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Azura Benguerra Island
“From the moment you step into the helicopter you know the trip will be fantastic. The island is the definition of paradise. You feel remote yet at home as the Azura family were there to welcome us with song and dance upon our arrival.
We'd thoroughly recommend booking some of the many activities. The snorkeling is incredible (we swam with turtles!) as are the beaches and ocean. One afternoon the team arranged a private lunch on the beach at Paradise Island which was incredibly romantic. Also carve out time to explore the island with one of the local staff members as it is very humbling to learn about the culture and Rainbow Fund support for the community. If you're brave (like Ross), join the Azura team for a game of football on Sunday or if a relaxing massage is more of your thing, visit the spa for a traditional African massage. Would recommend the treehouse as you can listen to the sounds of nature whilst having your treatment.
Finally, the food. Simply wow. We have a seafood allergy but the hotel dealt with that easily, each day providing us with a personalised menu inclusive of alternative options.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for relaxed luxury.”

Caroline was incredibly responsive and was on hand to answer questions and deal with KLM when we had an unfortunate flight cancellation.
