Blackheath Lodge
“The staff was exceptional - warm, friendly, and funny. The location was also great. It was centrally located while also being quaint and quiet. We would certainly stay here again.”
Ngala Safari Lodge
“Absolutely perfect. This was one of the best accommodations that we've ever had. We would highly recommend Ngala to anyone considering a safari experience. The staff was incredible and we had the time of our lives.”
Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge
“Oliver's was nice and access to the golf course was a plus. The staff seemed burnt out from the holidays and the crowd wasn't as friendly as Ngala and the Blackheath Lodge.”
Radisson RED Cape Town
“The Radisson RED is a great hotel, especially at the price point, for staying at the waterfront. It was fun and hip without being over the top. The staff and service were great, the room was very nice (even though we were not on the waterfront side, we still had a great view of Table Mountain), the location is great, and the breakfast and rooftop bar were all way above average compared to an American hotel at this price. There are a lot of tourists staying here, naturally, but the hotel also makes an effort to be accessible to locals by selling local art and crafts and having a local-friendly menu at the bar, which made it feel more authentic to Cape Town and more diverse which we really appreciated.”
Angala Boutique Hotel and Guest House
“Very beautiful hotel and location with great food and most of the staff was great. Some of the staff did expect us to have figured out wine tasting tours "six months in advance" of our visit, which was different than the customer service experience we had elsewhere where the staff was more than happy to help us plan things last minute. It's also a bit difficult to access the hotel and it doesn't really offer transportation services. We were able to find Ubers in and out of the hotel, but we had to walk down the driveway quite a bit - not a big deal in the end.”
