He also made fantastic iced tea. The cooks produced miraculous food using the most basic equipment - a personal favourite of mine was the banana cake.”

“Beautiful lodge with very good opportunities to view a vast array of wildlife from the camp's lounge area, and the most excellent food. The service was faultless, there was good attention to detail and some extremely thoughtful touches (such as a bath run in anticipation of our return, and a surprise gift of Easter eggs on Easter Sunday)! Yolande, the manager, provides a luxurious experience and sets high standards.”

“Excellent opportunities to see an array of wildlife, including leopards, lions and the naughtiest vervet monkeys which kept us highly entertained. We should not forget to mention the camp's elephant, who was a familiar sight. The accommodation was excellent, and we particularly appreciated the private Sala and swing! The camp boasts a swimming pool area, library and lounge; as well, as a boma. Every evening, our dinner took place in a different location. Our favourite was dinner in the boma. The food was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly keen to please.”
