“The location was great but the breakfast buffet was way better at the Holiday Inn Nairobi. They had better fruit choices, yogurt, waffles and layout. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed going to dinner next door at the Carnivore restaurant.”
Elewana Tortilis Camp
“Upon arrival, we were greeted by such amazing guides: Jackson, Joseph, and Jonathon. The view from the top of the camp to the watering hole is amazing, as animals just wander there throughout the day. Our tents were very well-appointed, and I loved getting our coffee delivered with biscuits. This camp had some of the best waiter service for our group of 16, and they knew our names and got our orders correct. Kudos to Chris, Stanley, and Phillip. I loved the ambiance of this camp and would stay here again. There were views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and so many elephants. Our surprise private bush breakfast was amazing with omelets in the wild. Our local village visit to the Maasai was such an enlightening experience. We learned so much about their culture and way of life. All 16 of us greatly enjoyed the hospitality they showed us.”
Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp
“The views from the top into the valley are stunning. Our drivers, Salomen, Raisin, and Big John, all displayed such knowledge and professionalism. We saw so many animals in this vast landscape, which is so different from the previous camp: rhinos, Grevy's zebras, reticulated giraffes, leopards, and much more. The guides ensured that every drive provided a new experience. However, the waitstaff could never get our orders correct or figure out who was who. Even at breakfast and lunchtime, when they took the order from us while we were in the same chairs, they had issues figuring out who ordered what. I understand the confusion at dinner when we had to preorder our meal and moved around, but after coming from the previous camp where this was not an issue, it was kind of frustrating. My massage outside my tent was absolutely amazing. I also loved that they do all the laundry here.”
Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp
“I loved the location of this camp because, in the Maasai Mara, you truly see a lot of animals interacting. We saw so many lions, lionesses, cheetahs, hippos, warthogs, topi, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, and so much more! The hammock where you can just sit and watch elephants in the distance is amazing. Our guides Sami, Rinka, and Francis were fantastic at getting us to the perfect locations; we were able to see lions mating, the food chain in action, and how each animal eats in a specific order, covering pretty much all the animal species. If we asked for it, they made it happen. The guides truly make these trips amazing. On our last day, we enjoyed sundowners with some local Maasai, where they started a fire for us and did some bow and arrow target practice.”
Breezes Beach Club & Spa
“The resort is in a good location and the food is excellent. The rooms are well-appointed, although they are quite dark inside with limited visibility and not much storage space, except for the dark closet. I also noted on the comment card that they don't provide conditioner or lotion, which most of us didn't bring due to weight requirements. Bathrobes would be a nice addition for me to consider this a 5-star resort. The manager and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, hosting a cocktail party on our second day and even presenting me with a birthday cake.”

I loved all the three camps we were at. Elewana properties are amazing. Our entire group left with such a great experience of Africa and all would love to come back to explore different areas.”
