vacation to Madagascar
Anonymous, 1st July 2024I got to see and experience everything I wanted: the baobabs, the lemurs and the local culture. The selection of places to go exceeded my expectations.
Accommodation Visited
Nosy Manga
“The location to get in and out of the airport and the food were really good. It was beautifully decorated and the staff was okay. The rooftop was nice and made us feel as though we weren't trapped inside the room/hotel. My room didn't have hot running water but they were able to fix it within 1hour.”
Mandrare River Camp
“This was my favorite because it felt so remote. The tent was super comfortable, with hot water, and the deck overseeing the river was unforgettable. But the best part was the staff! From Conrad and Monique to the chef, everyone, including the tour guides (Lori, Nant, and Rivu), was amazing and treated me with tons of attention. I felt very welcomed.”
Manga Soa Lodge
“This was my least favorite hotel, the management was sloppy, they didn't communicate well, and the food was not consistently good. The staff and the rooms were amazing, but the location is too far from anything and the beach is not really nice for swimming as it's full of algae and rocks. I liked that it was secluded but I wouldn't recommend it, especially with the current management.”
La Varangue Boutique Hotel
“The location, decoration, food, rooms, water temperature, and amenities were all amazing and memorable.”
Staff Review
“Bronwyn was great! I think she understood and nailed what I wanted! I do wish she had put together more than one itinerary, just so I could evaluate options, but in the end, I was happy with the recommendations. I also appreciated how quickly she was able to put it together since I didn't plan much ahead.”
