Adventure Holiday to Rwanda, Kenya & Tanzania

I want to start by deeply thanking Mahlatini for organizing one of the most special trips of our lives. The proposal at Elephant Pepper Camp was an absolutely magical moment, and I want to give special mention to Moses, the camp manager, and his incredible team, including Sammy and Francis. They all made the experience more than we could have ever imagined. The warmth and professionalism with which we were welcomed were impressive and something we will always cherish. Additionally, the experience with the gorillas in Rwanda was literally out of this world and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were incredibly lucky to see the entire family and spend a good amount of time observing them, along with the silverback. It truly was a highlight of our trip. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Julius, our butler from Migration Camp in Tanzania, who received us exceptionally and ensured our stay there was equally unforgettable. In addition to these highlights, the rest of the trip was spectacular. We were impressed by the level of service and hospitality everywhere we went. However, I would like to share a few details that we believe could be improved for future occasions: Yellow Fever Vaccine: Although you confirmed that our documents were valid, we were not accepted at the border when crossing into Tanzania. This forced us to pay a total of $200 (50 USD per person), which affected our planned finances for the trip. Transfer in Tanzania: The journey from the airport to Migration Camp was considerably longer than expected due to the closure of the Lobo Airstrip, something we were not informed about beforehand. This caught us by surprise and affected our level of fatigue. Driver when crossing into Tanzania: During the land crossing into Tanzania, the driver was not helpful, especially when the vaccination document issue arose. His attitude did not match the excellent service we received throughout the rest of the trip. Despite these minor inconveniences, I want to reiterate that the trip as a whole was extraordinary. Thank you once again for all your dedication and for making this trip so memorable for us. We definitely look forward to traveling with Mahlatini again in the future.
