vacation to Tanzania
Anonymous, 31st December 2024We all thought it was the trip of a lifetime!
Accommodation Visited
Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge
“Private rooms. Great service. Felt like a peaceful resort. We were initially taken to another lodge which seemed a more elegant place but we were quite happy with the coffee lodge.”
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
“Loved everything about it. Especially the people!! It fits my personality perfectly. I loved the old-world decorations with wood and leather. We learned that it will be torn down eminently to "modernize" with pools, workout rooms, etc. That is not necessarily why we would go there... but it seems that it's an effort to keep up with another lodge. As long as the culture, and especially the people remain, it will be special.
I was glad that we went in January. On one day we saw about 80 Jeeps and were told in July there would be 500 Jeeps. That would be very crowded. On all other days, we saw about 10 Jeeps.”
Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
“Perfection. Would not change a thing at all.”
Park Hyatt Zanzibar
“Very nice hotel. We chose it specifically for history and shopping. The staff was great. If I were to go again, I would go to a more elegant place but very glad that I saw what I did.”
Staff Review
“Natasha showed incredible patience, professionalism and enthusiasm. We made multiple changes and she flowed with them beautifully. My daughter found the Mahlatini team and planned 95% of the trip. We made a very last-minute choice to go and leave in about 2+ weeks. The only thought that I would have is that when one goes on holiday (which everyone should do) the backup is not also on holiday.”
