“Loved it, especially the lakeside setting. Room 11 was just what we needed for peace and excellent facilities. The food was excellent but too plentiful! The safari guiding was exemplary, although the driveable area was somewhat restricted. In five nights, we saw and experienced a lot. As quite experienced safari-goers in five countries, we found the habituation level of certain animals, especially cats, a bit surprising. The guides couldn’t have done more to accommodate the clients’ interests.

I will express other views on the physical state of the lodge buildings and the house staff experience directly on a call. It is nothing too serious, but there are some issues for a five-star-rated lodge.”
