We've visited over 30 countries, 40 US states, and 6 continents, and India was easily the most surprising, unique, colourful place we have ever been to. Reflecting on the trip, specifically, we would not have visited India without having Mahlatini leading the way for us, and our dedicated travel expert, Vanessa, who went above and beyond. “Upon arrival, we stayed at the Trident Gurgaon and we were instantly shocked at how gorgeous the property was. The pool was stunning, and it was amazing to have such incredible gym facilities to help us beat the jet lag right off the bat. The continental breakfast was a highlight, too, featuring many traditional Indian plates and giving us our first taste of the incredible Indian cuisines we were about to enjoy for the next 3 weeks.”

“The Earth Amritsar was a lovely accommodation for the area, we noticed online it said the finest luxury accommodation in Amritsar. It was a nice, clean place to come back to with great air conditioning after long days exploring the city.”

“Brij Pola was breathtaking in every way. We stayed in a 2,000 sq ft luxury safari tent complete with a private plunge pool — the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. The common spaces were just as impressive, especially the infinity pool with panoramic views. But the most unforgettable part came on our final night: after an exhilarating sunset game drive where we spotted wild leopards, the staff surprised us with a private candlelit dinner overlooking the lodge. A small local band played live as we dined under the stars - one of the most stunning and thoughtful experiences we've had in all our travels.”

Every detail of our stay felt intentional, elegant, and unforgettable.”

“Brunton Boatyard offered an instant and authentic connection to India’s coastal life. Set right on the water, the views were absolutely stunning — from our room, we could watch fishermen heading out to sea and returning with their daily catch, a beautiful rhythm of life unfolding just outside our window. The hotel itself blended heritage charm with understated luxury, but it was the closeness to Kerala’s maritime culture that made this stay feel so deeply rooted and memorable.”

“Where to begin with Spice Route Cruises? Spending the night on a traditional Indian spice boat, drifting through the serene backwaters of Kerala, was nothing short of magical. With no other guests on board, we had the entire boat to ourselves — complete with a private chef, dedicated staff, a luxurious suite with sweeping river views, and even our own hot tub. Every detail felt intimate and elevated. The food was exceptional, thoughtfully crafted to reflect the oceanic and river culture of Kerala — fresh, flavorful, and deeply rooted in the region’s culinary heritage. It was peaceful, immersive, and unlike anything we’ve experienced before.”
