“Such a beautiful property, with a really cosy and home feel to it. From the very moment we walked in, the service was outstanding, all the staff really wanted us to enjoy Franschhoek and were on hand with recommendations and to answer any queries we had. Location was brilliant - just off the Main Street where we could walk to the many restaurants, or a short Uber to many of the local wine farms. The breakfasts were also delicious and again service here was brilliant.”

The food was exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. Best food we have ever had. The people and the service here were the best we have ever experienced. Honestly, everyone was more than helpful, friendly, and willing to do whatever they could to make your stay more enjoyable. There was a real home/family feel to this place - they always had a small number of guests, so they took the time to get to know guests and really wanted everyone to enjoy their time.”

“The most beautiful lodge. Views from the main reception/eating area and from our own beach hut were just magical. Such a quiet, peaceful place, which is exactly what we wanted! Everything we needed was right there, within a short distance. The staff were absolutely amazing. They were really knowledgeable about the local area and answered any of our questions, we really enjoyed the village tour. The daily massages were amazing, as was the food and the menu which changed daily. The staff really made this lodge extra special, we loved our very special time here and would go back in the morning if we could!”
