Anonymous, 4th May 2025We were very happy with the trip and the properties where we stayed, but were unhappy with the travel agency as a whole, as it really put a cloud over our planning process and added a level of stress we did not need.

The Peech Boutique Hotel
“This hotel was fine, nothing special. The staff were kind, and the food was delicious. Our room was on the first floor and had all windows, which didn’t feel very private. There were also bugs/worms on the floor, which was a bit gross. Additionally, the layout of the bathroom wasn’t great.”
Simbambili Game Lodge
“This property was incredible. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious, and the drives were even better. We would highly recommend this lodge to anyone!”

“For a trip of this scale and price point, we expected attentive, responsive, and detail-oriented service. Unfortunately, that’s not what we received. Communication was slow throughout the planning process, and Kitty often lacked important logistical details — including contact information for tour operators. She was not proactive and frequently left us chasing down answers.
When Kitty was out of office, we were not able to get quick answers and felt like we had to re-explain our problem to another team member. Really not ideal. Sadly, we had referred 2 people to Mahlatini and after our experience, told them to go in a different direction.”
