Every detail has been taken into account, and it was the most relaxed holiday we have ever had in terms of the organisation of the trip. Also, the combination of the stays was just perfect. We cannot think of anything that would have made our honeymoon better.

“This place was just incredible. The best one we stayed in. Obviously the location and the views but also the conservancy were amazing. Both from an environmental and animal conservation point of view and from an exclusive feel. Moreover, the staff really made our stay perfect. We have not experienced such good food and hospitality so far. Special credits to the host and to our driver who went the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable. We loved the bush breakfast and activities.”

“Also just perfect. Food was a little bit less in quality when compared to Elewana but still very good. The host was so kind and nice and the guards were so fun and kind. We loved the night drive.”

“Again, a very good hotel. We loved the food at the local restaurant that was in a different building. Waiting times for the drinks and service were a bit too long. Breakfast was really nice, especially with the views. We did not have the room with the park view which was a little bit disappointing because we thought we would have it, but still nothing to complain about!”

“This park is just incredibly beautiful. It felt really spacious, although it was very big and crowded. The food, service and wines at the restaurants were amazing. Only thing we would have liked to know beforehand is the reservation system for the restaurants. Upon our arrival we were told that all restaurants were booked for the nights we were going to stay, which is a shame if you book half board. After asking multiple times we were able to eat at the restaurants we wanted to eat at during late time slots, fortunately. One other thing to add here was that the availability of the tours was very limited (and not running on Sundays?). In the end, we could go to Praslin and La Digue but with quite some hassle with the tour company. It was a bit disappointing as it was one of the main reasons to stay there for a while so perhaps good to know for future guests - perhaps Mahlatini can book them in advance.”

“Words cannot describe how great this stay was. Especially for foodies like us, every day was a real feast with those great chefs and local products. Everything was so well organised but still very relaxed. The accommodation was just incredible too. Only minor thing was our check-in upon arrival. The staff could have been a bit more friendly - one of the senior staff members asked for our marriage certificate in a bit of a rude way without smiling or congratulating us with it (which we got used to at the previous stays). She also did not seem very nice to her colleagues.”

“Just a very good hotel again. The staff came and fixed a leak in the aircon super fast and politely. Prices in the bar/restaurant were perhaps a bit too pricy for the quality.”

Without mentioning too many details or speaking about it for a very long time, she knew exactly what we wanted. Without her and Mahlatini, we would have never gotten the honeymoon of our lives.
