Holiday to South Africa, Botswana & Kenya
Shannon Boone, 10th August 2025Overall really great trip! Really enjoyed seeing two very different environments on safari in Botswana and Kenya. Camps were great, felt remote but all the luxuries you would want. Food was really good, much better than expected and got to explore all around Cape Town while there as well. Caroline made the whole process very easy and simple. Was our first time using a travel agency as we like to book ourselves, but was a great intro into working with agents!

“Really cute small inn, great breakfast. Left us a nice anniversary gift when we checked in. Location was awesome, could see table mountain from our room and walk to lots of restaurants.”
Machaba Camp
“Our favorite place we stayed. The rooms were great, solid power, and water always, super well appointed room with a view. We thought the food here was great, had some local/authentic food options some times. Great staff and guides and loved the game we found on the drives. I think they forgot our anniversary as they didn't do anything for it, but on a game drive a couple mentioned a bottle of Champagne showed up in their room (was next to us) and no idea why so maybe it was for us? But its ok as the trip was the gift to ourselves, not any particular thing day of.”
Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel
“Nice hotel, seemed a little older for being a high end place but overall a good choice. Security entering was also a bit much. Great breakfast.”
Naibor Camp
“Great camp, really friendly staff. We liked Machaba a little bit better as they had sometimes more local food, and the tent there was a bit nicer. But overall pretty similar and great camps. Left us a nice anniversary champagne.”
