Holiday to Tanzania
Brian and Ruth Cave, 7th July 2013The best holiday we have ever had, enjoyed every minute of it. Our guide in Tanzania, (Freddie), was excellent, seemingly an encyclopaedic knowledge of birds in particular, and always punctual and pleasant. The Mbalengeti Serengiti Lodge is simply stunning. Zanzibar was also fabulous, the Sea Cliff Hotel is very probably the best overall resort I have ever stayed in, location is stunning, facilities are fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

“My main impression of Tanzania in comparison with many other African countries is a sense of overall security, the people are generally extremely friendly. The Ngorongoro Crater is amazing, simply brimming with wildlife, a stunning experience.”
Accommodation Visited
“Location is magnificent and rooms are lovely. Our room was a long way from reception up a fairly steep hill, however this was not a big problem for a short stay. Meal times are very busy, but queues were still short and well managed.”
Mbalageti Serengeti
“We were in one of the tented chalets at Mbalegeti, again a beautiful room and gives a very real sense of "Africa". Going to sleep with the noise of hyenas close by was a great experience.”
“I just cannot say enough about this resort, simply exceptional in every respect from our point of view. Food is "themed" each evening, but was always very good. The bar at the end of the long jetty must surely be the best place in the world for a "sundowner". Trips into Stone Town are a must, other tours, (eg Slave Route), are great but quite expensive.”
