Behind the scenes, Aaron and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, especially with the uncertainty surrounding flights through Turkey in the weeks leading up to our trip. When our outbound flight was unexpectedly cancelled, their emergency support line answered immediately. The staff member we spoke to was calm, professional, and incredibly helpful, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. “Our honeymoon in South Africa was truly spectacular. The family-run lodge exceeded all of our expectations. During four unforgettable days and eight game drives, our knowledgeable driver and tracker provided an incredible safari experience. Seeing the Big Five within the first 24 hours was amazing and allowed us to fully relax and appreciate all the other incredible wildlife for the remainder of the trip. One of the most unforgettable moments was spotting one of only seven wild white lions.
Every detail of the safari experience was exceptional - from the early morning bush coffees and snacks to sunset drinks overlooking the plains. We felt completely safe throughout our stay, and the food at Walkers was outstanding from breakfast through to dinner, including bespoke cocktails waiting for us after each game drive. Our room overlooked the plains and private pool area, where we were lucky enough to watch zebras, impalas, and elephants wander past towards the nearby watering hole, while listening to lions roaring in the evenings. What truly made Walkers special, however, was the staff. Their warmth, professionalism, and personal attention made our honeymoon unforgettable. We genuinely did not want to leave and are already planning to return in the future.
After South Africa, we travelled to Mauritius for the second part of our honeymoon.”

“The resort was stunning, with beautiful beaches, exceptional food, and attentive service throughout. We loved having multiple beach areas to choose from each day, with staff regularly bringing drinks directly to our sun loungers. As honeymooners, Aaron ensured we received several special experiences, including cocktail making, drinks on the veranda, and a private breakfast by the pool.
The hotel also allowed us to add extra honeymoon experiences, including a private cinema evening with a movie of our choice, rum tasting in a treehouse, a private golf driving range session, and a romantic private dinner on the beach.
The food throughout our stay was incredible, with standout favourites including Turkish Bodrum Blue overlooking the bay for lunch, the beach BBQ burgers, and the Peruvian restaurant for dinner. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely lovely.”
