Holiday to Zambia

Claire Picknell was our travel consultant and she was very helpful from start to finish. We really appreciated the fact that she called out to our house to discuss holiday options before we booked. In Africa everything went so smoothly - we hadn't realised we would have someone to meet us at Lusaka airport but it was so good having someone get us through immigration. Both Bush Camps and Wilderness Safaris were reliable and professional at all times. The only small thing is that I wish we had known beforehand that to fly home through South Africa meant we had to have yellow fever jabs. When we had gone to travel clinics and advised we were travelling to Zambia we were told we didn't need yellow fever. It was only 2 weeks before we left that I realised because we were flying home via South Africa that we needed yellow fever. We were fortunate to find somewhere that had a stock of the vaccine.
