Honeymoon to Zambia, Botswana & Mauritius

Countries Visited
Zambia
“It was a dream seeing the Victoria Falls. Hope we can go back there one day. The upgrade was a real surprise and such a treat!”
Botswana
“The Okavango Delta is hands down the best place we have ever been. Again, we would love to go back one day. The camps were really nice yet relaxed and people so so friendly. The safari was amazing, we saw everything we wanted to!”
South Africa
“We give this a neutral score because we only saw the airport and an airport hotel. However, our plan is to go to South Africa soon to see Cape Town, Winelands and more safari!”
Mauritius
“Mauritius was great although the weather was a bit variable, we knew this might be the case though due to the time of year we went. I think next time we would go for longer at a different time of year.”
Accommodation Visited
“We were upgraded to the Royal Livingstone which was incredible. The best start to our honeymoon, cocktails sat by the Zambezi at sunset was a highlight.”
Chobe Bush Lodge
“Very clean, modern, spacious hotel. Food good and drinks affordable. Lacked character of camps but difficult to avoid this. Safari activities also good but a little chaotic as lots of people to coordinate. We saw a lion at Chobe which was a highlight. We also paid extra to change the second safari boat to an afternoon drive which was worth it.”
Pom Pom Camp
“Our favourite place we stayed. We loved the food and the people. Our safari guide was extremely experienced and we saw lions and leopards. We had a private meal and met some really nice people too. Loved the laid back yet luxurious vibe.”
Gunn's Camp
“A really special place. Didn't see as much on safari due to it being all on water but having the camp to ourselves one night and dinner outside our tent was really amazing.”
OR Tambo City Lodge
“Did the job for a short stay for our flight the next morning. (On which we were upgraded to business class - made leaving Africa a little less heartbreaking!)”
LUX* Le Morne
“The hotel service again was variable in quality, although when we did make comments they tried really hard to make up for it. I don't think we stayed for long enough. I would still like to try the Lux hotel in the Maldives one day!”
Staff Review
“Claire was an excellent consultant and really knows her stuff. She is very friendly and helpful, gives sound advice and answers all those silly questions right up to the day you leave! She always responds quickly. Even when we were away we had a few more queries, which were answered straight away via email. I will be coming to Claire in the near future to look at a trip to South Africa!”
