Located in the heart of Cape Town's V&A Waterfront and offering unrivalled views of Cape Town, The Silo Hotel is an extraordinarily unique luxury space, located in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex occupying six floors above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA).
The most striking feature of the hotel from the outside is the addition of pillowed glass windows inserted into the geometry of the hotel floors. Bulging outwards as if gently inflated, they transform the building at night into a glowing beacon in the harbor. The Silo offers 28 rooms. Each of the rooms has been individually designed and decorated with colorful and eclectic pieces which juxtapose the industrial and modern architecture. The categories of rooms are based on room size and the views they offer. There are a wide range of dining experiences on offer at The Silo, all overseen by Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team. Enjoy a drink at Willaston Bar, formal dining at The Granary Café or a casual lunch or sunset cocktail at The Silo Rooftop.
