The Amakhala Game Reserve is an 18 000 acre private game park located in the malaria free Eastern Cape. The reserve is a Big 5 Reserve and hosts other animals such as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and plenty of antelope species.
Safari Lodge is a 4 star, intimate thatched lodge in a valley of indigenous bush at the northern boundary of Amakhala Game Reserve. Its 11 unique air-conditioned safari huts offer all the comforts of a luxury lodge. The rooms are a favorite with honeymooners who are treated to sparkling wine on ice alongside an aromatherapy scented bubble bath. Each of the rooms has views of the waterhole where monkeys come to play and antelope and zebra quench their thirst.
