The Amakhala Game Reserve is an 18 000 acre private game park located in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa. The reserve is a Big 5 Reserve and hosts other animals such as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and plenty of antelope species.
Amakhala Woodbury Lodge is a property spectacularly set against a cliff, above the Bushmans River Valley and offers superb views of the reserve. There are 7 comfortably appointed stone and thatch sleeping lodges, including 2 family suites. All rooms have private decks and large bathrooms with a view over the plains. Facilities include a communal swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining area, viewing deck and boma area.
