The malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve is situated in the Eastern Cape and is home to the Big 5, elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard. This reserve has received numerous international awards, including the World's Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for many consecutive years. It is situated in a verdant bush along the Bushmans River and forms a natural extension of the famous Garden Route. Luxury safari accommodation is offered in 6 different lodges.
Bayethe Tented Lodge offers 12 superior suites. Each suite is air-conditioned and has an en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, private plunge pool and viewing deck. Other facilities include a lounge area, indoor and outdoor dining facilities, a swimming pool, a gift boutique and wifi throughout the rooms and lodge.
