Kambaku Safari Lodge is a family-orientated lodge nestled in the heart of the beautiful Timbavati Private Game Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Expect to see the Big 5 as well as favorites such as hippo and hyena whilst always keeping an eye out for the famous white lions of the Timbavati and the endangered African wild dogs.
The eight thatched chalets (including 3 inter-leading family units) are set around the camp waterhole, which can also be viewed from the main pool deck or upper deck. The rooms each have a private veranda. If you are feeling adventurous, you may opt to spend one night of your stay at the Kambaku sleep-out deck, a 3-tiered, raised platform, with all luxury modern conveniences and set on the banks of a dam where abundant game come to drink. At the main lodge is a welcoming fireplace, small library, swimming pool, and bar as well as a dining area offering hearty brunches, delicious high teas, and unforgettable dinners under the night sky. A spa and gym are available for use at the sister lodge, River Sands.
Kambaku Safari Lodge is ideal for family holidays and caters for children of all ages. It is fully fenced and offers a unique and fun-filled Kids' Program as well as a toy box and pool table.
