Running along the banks of the Sabie River, Lion Sands Narina Lodge combines an exclusive wilderness experience with luxury accommodation. Situated in a 5000 hectare private concession in the Kruger, the lodge is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area and the wide variety of game on offer, including leopard, buffalo and lion. Guiding at the lodge is of a very high standard, with the experienced guides at Narina heightening game drives with their expert knowledge of the area and the wildlife that call it home.
The property is raised off of the ground on stilts, providing extra special views of the river. Guests can sit out and enjoy a spot of casual game viewing, particularly so during the winter months; with the river a popular haunt for elephant herds. Narina nestles among a canopy of trees, helping it to blend well with its surroundings, and offers 9 charming suites.
Accommodation is elegant and affords high levels of privacy; as such the property works well for honeymooners. Rooms are connected to the main area of the lodge via wooden walkways and all offer delightful vistas of the river. Each suite offers a number of facilities, including air conditioning, a plunge pool, mosquito nets, an in-room safe and bathrooms that feature both outdoor and indoor showers and a toilet. The main guest area provides WiFi and a satellite TV for those wishing to stay connected.

AMAZING! The location/lodge was fabulous, so luxurious! I absolutely loved the outside shower :-). Staff were so friendly and thoughtful, made us feel very special and welcome. Our trackers Simon and Issac were fabulous, so kind and friendly.
