Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is located in the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve forming part of the greater Kruger National Park. River Lodge has been built on the banks of the Sabie River, positioned on a site with trees dating back 800 years.
There are 12 luxury and 8 superior luxury thatched bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, outdoor & inside shower & wooden viewing deck to capitalise on the spectacular river views. The food is excellent and the expertise of the Lion Sands rangers and trackers means that not only will you get to see masses of game, but you'll learn a whole lot about the bush too. There is a unique programme of activities for guests to tailor-make their stay including the famous Chalkley Treehouse experience.
