Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is a 4-star lodge situated in the vast Balule Nature Reserve which forms a part of the Greater Kruger National Park. It’s an owner-run, intimate lodge that caters to couples and families and offers thrilling Big 5 game drives in one of the best game-viewing regions of South Africa.
The lodge is situated on higher ground giving it sweeping views over the savannah, across a waterhole, and onto the Drakensberg mountains. The rondawel (round hut) rooms are simple but characterful with al fresco showers. The Family Lodges have a double room interleading into a twin room, each with its own facilities. Between game drives, there are plenty of places to relax at the main lodge, including the lounges, the hammock garden, and the swimming pool. The chefs serve Southern African recipes and locally sourced produce, paired with Cape wines, in outdoor locations around the lodge.
