Singita Castleton is a private-use African farmhouse situated in the heart of the private Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The reserve shares an open border with the Kruger National Park in South Africa and offers high concentrations of big game and frequent leopard sightings. Designed for exclusive use, Singita Castleton is the perfection location for a safari escape with friends or family.

Castleton combines a private safari lodge with the rustic charm of a country farmhouse. It is the former home of the grandfather of Singita's Founder, Luke Bailes. The many antiques and furnishings of the original homestead have been refashioned and add authenticity to this exclusive home-from-home. The airy and contemporary living areas of the house extend outdoors onto deep, covered verandas which overlook a waterhole, from which you can watch the many wildlife visitors come to drink. A country-style kitchen draws guests into the heart of the home. The home's richly detailed interiors in a neutral palette contrast with traditional tartans and classic prints creating an unbuttoned, lived-in appeal. Country furniture, botanical art references, luxurious bedding and flagstone floors add a nostalgic, time-honoured ambience to the farmhouse.
