Set in the 14000 hectare Thornybush Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the greater Kruger National Park, Siviti Timbavati Plains, formerly known as Thornybush River Lodge, offers only four luxurious suites overlooking the seasonal Monwana River. Its size (limited to 8 guests) and discrete positioning ensure a personalised and private experience for every guest.

At Siviti guests can expect some of the finest game viewing opportunities in South Africa, all whilst secluded in a magnificent setting amid the vast bushveld panoramas. The Big Five safari experiences blend seamlessly with the 5-star service and amenities. Each of the four rooms, including the two-bedroom Royal Suite, flow out onto an elevated deck with private plunge pool, particularly enjoyed from the bathroom's feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors which open to allow the outdoors in. For the ultimate in relaxation, the bathtub overlooks the magnificent views, as does the outdoor shower. Mosquito nets and air-conditioning further add to the comfort of the experience. The main area of the lodge is exquisitely furnished offering a lounge and dining area where guests will enjoy delicious meals. There is also a sparkling rim flow swimming pool which overlooks the water hole, offering the perfect place for a refreshing dip and hopefully some further game viewing.
