Situated in the private Sabi Sands Game Reserve, with an unfenced border to the world-renowned Kruger National Park, andBeyond Tengile River Lodge sits on a river bank with magnificent views from all angles. The Sabi Sands offers one of the richest wildlife areas on the African continent, home to a host of animals including the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard), which you can enjoy seeing on morning and evening game drives as well as guided bush walks.
The lodge itself has elegant interiors. It has a warm and contemporary style and is built with an extremely light footprint. It features nine floating suites that each look out over the river from the shelter of a cool riverine forest. Each of the spacious suites features a sunken lounge, an elegant bedroom, a bathroom that opens out onto the forest and a private deck with lap pool. The living areas are cleverly designed to as to be easily converted to cater for children's sleeping arrangements at night.
