Tuningi Safari Lodge is a 5-star lodge within South Africa’s malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, just a few hours from Johannesburg. It offers an impressive Big 5 safari experience within a friendly and relaxed environment. The lodge is particularly child friendly with 2 Family Suites and a kids’ program giving children the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature and wildlife.
The lodge can accommodate 16 guests in 4 spacious luxury suites and 2 family suites. All the air-conditioned rooms have private wrap-around decks with spectacular views of the bush. The bathrooms feature oversized baths (with a view) and private alfresco rock showers. The family suites have 2 bedrooms and are joined by a dining area, kitchenette, and a living room.
The main lodge area features a lounge, cozy dining area, bar, and rim flow pool that overlooks an active watering hole. Meals are served in the dining room or in the unique boma perfectly set under an old Fig Tree overlooking a very active waterhole.
