Located just outside the picturesque town of Franschhoek, the Mont Rochelle Hotel holds a dramatic backdrop, surrounded by the area's endless vineyards and sweeping valleys. Although only small, the hotel provides a variety of facilities and is quietly luxurious. There are 26 well-appointed rooms and suites. Some of the rooms feature spectacular views of the surrounding area, while others provide their own private gardens. More exclusive suites feature their own plunge pools.
The hotel's main reception area is found in the Garden Wing, along with the Colonial Cigar Bar. There are two restaurants, both of which boast delicious cuisine, with one serving meals al fresco. There is also a Wellness Centre and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Visits to the hotel's cellar and vineyards are on offer along with the property's own tasting center.
