Ishq Colombo

ISHQ Colombo is an exquisite four-suite private villa, located in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. The property provides a tranquil, relaxing escape from the bustle of the city but is also the perfect base from which to explore the temples, markets, museums, spas, varied dining scene and boutiques of the city. The interiors are exceptional, with a fine collection of art work, antiques and collectables, from both near and far.

The large suites at ISHQ Colombo have high-ceilings and plenty of windows, allowing natural light to fill the space. Intricate rugs and tapestries blend effortlessly with the neutrally painted walls, and wooden furnishings, to create a warm, sophisticated tropical ambience. Each suite has a private living area and en-suite bathroom. Some have doors opening on to the swimming pool or the roof terrace, others are located on the ground floor. A small courtyard pool provides opportunity for a cooling dip, while the rooftop jacuzzi is ideal for a pre or post dinner beverage. There is a spa room on-site also for those in need of a massage after a long flight or tour around the island. Dining at ISHQ is memorable. The owners are of Memoni heritage and delight in sharing their unique cuisine – a cross between north Indian and Persian – with guests. Please note ISHQ does not sell alcohol but guests are welcome to bring and drink their own which staff will chill and pour with no corkage charged. A great option for couples and larger groups alike, ISHQ can be taken in its entirety where it can sleep up to ten guests or by the suite.
