Set on Sri Lanka’s south coast near Tangalle, Kayaam House is a spiritual sanctuary in a secluded spot, just steps from the Indian Ocean. Spaces are designed to help ease the mind, unwind, and relax in a lush tropical setting. The area it sits in is off-the-beaten-track, full of undiscovered terrain, with access to wide empty beaches and experiences that explore the coastline. It is quintessential rural Sri Lanka but the town of Tangalle, with its lovely beaches, is only 20 minutes away.

This retreat features 6 Ocean Rooms, 2 Palm Suites and a 2-bedroom Palm Residence, set apart from the house and with a private garden and jacuzzi. All are set within nature, with earthy textures. The floor-to-ceiling windows slide open to reveal exquisite views of either the tropical jungle or the seascape. Honeymooners will love the Palm Suite with its outdoor jacuzzi. There is no menu or mealtimes at Kayaam House, but there are plenty of seasonal dishes rich in Sri Lankan cultural heritage. The Sanctuary Spa offers traditional healing methods using hyperlocal herbs and spices and you can also bathe yourself in nature at the outdoor yoga pavilion or the infinity pool.
