Maramboi Tented Lodge on the shores of Lake Manyara is located within a 25,000-hectare concession on the migratory corridor of the Tarangire and Manyara ecosystem. It is a permanent camp offering endless vistas of the Manyara National Park, Rift Valley, Ngorongoro highlands and on clear days even Oldonyo Lengai, a sacred mountain to the Maasai.
An area extraordinarily rich in wildlife, the camp offers 44 spacious tents built on ample wooden decks. All tents have en suite facilities and a private veranda with 24-hour 220V electric lighting. In the center of the camp is a mess tent where breakfast and lunch are served. Pre-dinner appetizers snacks and dinner are served under the starlit sky. There is also a lounge area where you can relax as well as a small library. The camp also contains a pool which is a welcome relief from the heat of the day.

Holiday to Maramboi Tented Lodge
Maramboi Tented Camp offered us views of wildebeests and zebras from our tent, the antics of monkeys in the trees overhead, and gorgeous sunsets over Lake Manyara. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient, including a spacious pool and patio area that was a great place for afternoon naps …
Maramboi is nice lodge and the setting in which the animals come close is also quite good. The food here was a let down though and I hope they can work on it. The lack of hot water at all time was also another issue
