Kitela Lodge, within the incredible highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, rises up on the hillside of a valley with beautiful views of a coffee plantation and a waterfall. The lodge is a great base from which to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding area.
The rooms are at ground level with a private terrace or balcony overlooking the gardens and/or coffee plantation. The main building consists of a restaurant, lounge and a large terrace with spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There's an outdoor swimming-pool. The restaurant offers market style choices with locally grown produce on the farm.

vacation to Kitela Lodge
A beautiful plantation house. We really enjoyed walking around the gardens in the evening. The pre-dinner drinks each evening were also a lovely social feature.
It was a beautiful place and the people were nice. The bed was HARD and the coffee bad! Lol 2 very important things to us BUT it is a beautiful place and I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying there.
Great setting and service.
It was a bit misleading, talking about on the crater, looking at the East Wall and a Waterfall.
But the rooms were great, service was outstanding.
