Lemala Osonjoi is conveniently located on the quieter eastern side of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, close to the Lemala Gate. Osonjoi, named after the trees that dominate the area, reflects the symbolic and medicinal significance these trees hold for the Maasai. The lodge offers a unique opportunity to explore the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, known for its high concentration of wildlife, that roams the crater floor, from majestic lion and elephant to endangered black rhino.
The lodge features 20 luxurious suites, including two-bedroom options ideal for families or groups. Osonjoi is a very stylish and beautiful lodge in the middle of the rainforest overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater! The rooms with open fireplace was just amazing. Staff were very friendly.
I think they still are working out the kinks. A bit slow in service especially escorting to and fro. Still very pleasant and lovely people. The accommodation was unbelievable! I want a reading nook in my own home now. Food was great! Location and view were spectacular!
