Sand Rivers Selous
Found on the banks of the Rufiji River, in the vast wilderness of the Nyerere National Park (previously Selous Game Reserve), Sand Rivers is a camp of rustic luxury. Possessing incredibly comfortable rooms that are open to the elements, you can expect an authentic wilderness experience laced with the exclusivity and service the camp has become known for.
The camp provides a choice of 3 Hillside Suites and 5 Riverside rooms. All of the accommodation boasts open fronts, to enhance the authenticity of the experience of a stay. Perhaps one of the best things about a stay here is how close you feel to the surrounding wilderness, lying in your stone and thatch cottage, you can not only hear the hippos from your bed you can see them too. Enjoy romantic dinners spent under the stars, followed by drinks and laughs in the open lounge. Adjacent to the lounge and main area is the open air swimming pool, a perfect vantage point from which to view game at your leisure.
