A unique park on the east coast of Tanzania, Saadani National Park is a great place to visit for a short safari if you're based in Dar es Salaam. We recommend combining it with the Nyerere and Ruaha to enjoy a classic southern circuit safari. While Saadani may not boast quite the same number of wildlife species as its neighbors, game viewing is still incredible with lion, leopard, giraffe, hippos, and waterbuck.

This trip far exceeded any expectations we had. We’ve been to 27 countries in our 9 years of marriage and this trip was by far the best thing we’ve ever done together. I don’t know how we will ever top it.
