Oliver’s Camp is set in a remote region in the Tarangire National Park and within easy reach of the wildlife-rich Silale Swamps. The camp is an echo of the early days of east African safaris. To maintain an intimate atmosphere, the camp divides into 10 and 5 suites. If you are traveling in a small group, or if you are after more privacy, you would be best placed staying at Little Oliver’s - a 5-tent area of the camp offset about a kilometer away from the main camp. Each wing has its own lounge and dining area, with access to the shared pool and deck located between the two wings. Enjoy game drives, as well as walking safaris and night drives to explore this wild area.
Oliver's retains a real back-to-basics bush camp feel with a luxurious edge. The tents all overlook a floodplain which can be enjoyed from the private deck, the perfect place to sit and enjoy the stillness and serenity of the African bush. The bathrooms have flushing toilets and both indoor and outdoor showers. The décor reflects the natural colors of the wilderness outside.
Dining at the lodge is an intimate affair, with communal meals served al fresco or in the main tent. The campfire is another focal point of interaction and relaxation, with daring safari tales told late at night over a drink. There is a laundry service provided and power in the lodge is supplied via solar power as well as a generator. For charging camera batteries, there are charging facilities available.

Solo Trip to Asilia Oliver's Camp
The experience here was great! I had a great guide and was amazed at the wildlife. It was a bit more difficult to be a solo traveller here, but my guide did communicate that to the manager, who made sure I had someone to dine with at dinner, which was a really nice adaptation. This was our first camp and we loved it. The location is perfect, far from the safari traffic, closer to the main gate. There were times when we could not see any other vehicles. The tent was luxurious and the food was amazing. Really top notch.
The camp facilities were fantastic. We would have liked to have rooms closer to each other, we had rooms 1 and 5. The game drive was excellent with the best guide ever, Partena. We liked the open vehicle and knowledgeable guide. Outstanding food and game drives were exactly what we wanted.
Tremendous location for game viewing right from the camp. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the accommodations and the view from our tent!! Loved the evenings around the fire!
