Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Found in the beautiful Tarangire National Park, which is home to Africa's largest concentration of elephants, Tarangire Sopa Lodge is surrounded by trees and rocky outcrops. The interiors may be considered a bit dated but the rooms are comfortable and pleasantly decorated. It is a clean and friendly lodge and a great value option for the Tarangire National Park.
The 75 large rooms of Tarangire Sopa provide a private lounge with mini bar to relax in as well as an accommodating spacious bathroom. The sheltered veranda affords guests the chance to watch wildlife and enjoy the view from the comfort of their lodgings. All rooms include mosquito nets around their 2 queen size beds and there are 4 interconnecting rooms, a plus for families wishing to stay together.
Children are more than welcome at the lodge, with babysitting services and special meals available. Dining is a big part of the Tarangire Sopa experience; the large dining area offers up some delicious meals beneath its high ceiling and for those wishing to further the experience alfresco dining on the restaurant's terrace and patio is available. The lodge also provides a swimming pool, gift shop and internet connection.
