Bwindi Lodge is an eco-lodge overlooking Uganda's primeval Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Expect dramatic views of the forest and aside from the gorilla tracking, the forest is a great place to spot the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage.
The Lodge offers luxury bandas each with a private terrace overlooking the forest canopy. The main lodge building houses a cozy fireside bar, dining room and lounge area and also maximizes on the beautiful views of the forest canopy, with both open and covered terraces providing optimum viewing platforms facing the forest. There is also a Forest Spa offering massages. Activities on offer include gorilla tracking, tours of tea plantations, waterfall walks and visits to the Bwindi Community Hospital.
