Sindabezi Island
Situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, Sindabezi Island is a classic bush camp, melding the luxury of exclusive service and comfort with a traditional sense of rusticity. Privately owned and run, Sindabezi is the only luxury bush camp in the Victoria Falls region. Just upstream of Victoria Falls itself: the largest waterfall in the world and one of earth's 7 natural wonders, the lodge places guests close to nature with five open-sided thatched cottages.
The authentic cottages, one of which is a honeymoon chalet, provide guests ample opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush, with views across the flood plains and into the nearby National Park.
Experience the large number of activities in the area during the day and return to a tranquil haven of the lodge at night. Guests can look forward to canoeing, island lunches, romantic sanpan floating candlelit dinner, a visit to the Mosi O Tunya National Park, boat trips at sunrise and sunset, cultural tours, a visit to roaring Victoria Falls, guided bush walks, fishing, game drives and a visit to Maramba Market.
