Enjoy a refreshing beverage whilst floating in your own private pool overlooking the mighty Zambezi River. With its own private stretch of the river out front you can enjoy unobstructed views and calm, quiet surroundings.
Only a short distance from the thundering Victoria Falls, Thorntree River Lodge is an environmentally friendly space that has taken its cue from local Zambian culture and customs. The 8 luxury suites and 2 family units each come with a private plunge pool and indoor and outdoor bathroom. Guests will be delighted with the stunning interiors, fine linen and minibars. In between activities, guests may choose to relax along the river on their private viewing deck, placed right in front of the rooms. The main area consists of a lounge with an open dining area, and a communal deck, set on the edge of the riverside with a sunken boma area and infinity pool. The dining area offers guests a chance to try authentic African cuisine in a fine dining environment.

Once again, a very nice lodge, but we only caught 1 fish in total within 3 days of fishing. It was a tiger fish for my son, but he only caught 1 within 3 days. I got zero. The rhino visit was awesome.
